Aljur Abrenica and AJ Raval are fighting for their love in the sexy, action-packed drama, “Sugapa.”
As Ben and Anna, respectively, Aljur and AJ will leave the the peace and monotony of provincial life to try and and make their dreams come true in the big city.
Only to realize that reaching for their dreams could mean losing each other.
Indeed, contrary to what they expected, the city is not a rose garden.
Temptation and danger lurk in every turn.
There, they are to face more problems and challenges that will put their relationship to the test.
As they deal with money, lust, addiction, obsession, and hunger for power, will everything be worth it in the end?
Can their love make it through? Or will it be better to go their separate ways?
Aljur is happy to be paired with AJ in the film.
He said, “Naging madali ang lahat para sa akin na si AJ ang partner ko dito.”
AJ echoed the same thing.
“Hindi ako nailang at all kahit sa mga intimate scenes kasi kampante ako na si Aljur ang kasama ko.”
A film by Lawrence Fajardo, known for fast-paced action movies such as “A Hard Day” and “Reroute,” expect “Sugapa” to also thrill and excite you with heart-stopping scenes.
“This fuilm is personal to me as a man who sacrificed everything for my dreams,” said Law. “I think many will be able to relate with the narrative.”
