The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup is nearly down to its Final 8 and among those nations which made the tough cut include Luka Doncic’s Slovenia and Germany.
The two countries have similar 4-0 records, but not for long as they are set to play their final match in Japan against each other on Sunday, Sept. 3.
Slovenia topped Australia with a 91-80 win while Germany rolled past Georgia for a 100-73 victory both in Group K on Friday, Sept. 1 to progress to the next round of the tournament, but so as the USA and Lithuania which are also unscathed heading into their clash on the same day.
All teams will play the Final Phase of the quadrennial meet at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City in the Philippines, where Team USA and the Lithuanians have gotten themselves accustomed to.
Filipino fans are longing to see the Dallas Mavericks star up close and personal.
