How far are you willing to go to fulfil your dreams?
This is the dilemma faced by Claudia, Tiffany Grey’s character in the Vivamax film “Punit Na Langit.”
Beautiful and smart, Claudia believes she has what it takes to make it in the big city.
Only that she has no money.
She lives with her cousin Dyosa, who is mute, played by Apple Dy.
The two survive mainly due to Dyosa’s sewing talent.
Their lives would change when a circus troupe visits their sleepy, little town.
The circus is just a facade though.
It is run by thugs who sell women.
But Claudia is seemingly blinded by the fun and beauty of it all.
She would go on to establish a relationship with Rafael, the thug boss, as played by Chester Grecia.
Chester would go on to become her pimp.
Tiffany told us, “The film is an eye-opener. It’s a cautionary tale. I think maganda na mapanood ito ng karamihan.”
Apple added, “I’m very grateful na maging bahagi ng isang pelikula na may aral. Hopefully people would appreciate our effort.”
Directed by Rodante Pajemba Jr., “Punit Na Langit,” which also stars Aila Cruz, Aerol Carmelo, Aria Bench, among others, starts streaming on Vivamax Sept. 8.
