Eleven-year-old Richande Ezekiel Arcenal of Caloocan City and nine-year old Vance Asher Salinas of Cavite ruled their respective levels in the Milo Checkmate final evaluation tournament held over the weekend at the Starmall Edsa Shaw in Mandaluyong City.
Arcenal, a grade six pupil of Espiritu Santo Parochial School in Manila, posted a perfect score of three points to win the Intermediate 2 section while Salinas, a grade three pupil of Dawn Amadis Christian School Inc. topped the Beginners 2 Group A section also with a perfect score of three points.
The one-day event concluded the fifth batch of the Milo Checkmate online and face to face program.
Other winners are as follows: Intermediate 2 – Santino Marciano (2nd place), Natasha de Vega (3rd place) and Royce Quiñones (4th place); Intermediate 1- Gavril Mikhail Chua (1st place), Isaiah Tago (2nd place) and Francesco Chua (3rd place). Beginners 2 Group A– Lucas Sebastian Perez (2nd place), Raphael Gian Tuazon (3rd place) and Steven Raphael Serrano (4th place). Beginners 2 Group B – Zion Judah Orteza (1st place), Felicisimo Enriquez (2nd place), Kristian Marte (3rd place) and Don Antonio Eusebio Acosta (4th place).
Beginners 2 Group C – Robi Oampo (1st place), Arqin Garcia (2nd place) and Zoe Orteza (3rd place). Beginners 2 Group D– Enrique Rafael Cabrera (1st place), Adrielle Marquee Cuarto (2nd place) and Maria Paola Tupas (3rd place).
Raphael Gian Tuazon of Xavier School won the highest award for his Exemplary Display of Sportsmanship. All winners were awarded medals, courtesy of the supporting Milo, the No. 1 energy drink in the country.
Meanwhile, the next batch for the Milo Checkmate Saturdays-only face to face clinics will start this coming weekend, September 16 at Trinoma from 9:15-11:30a.m. and Starmall Edsa Shaw from 2:00-4:15 p.m. The Sunday’s classes will be held at JCO Southmall Las Piñas from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2:00-4:15 p.m. For other inquiries, please contact us at 0922-822-6319.
