Candon City will play host to an exciting Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference’s doubleheader on Saturday at the modern 6,000-seater arena.
Mayor Eric Singson is honored to have Candon City as hosts to the third stop of the PVL on Tour, which features Ivy Lacsina-led F2 Logistics and Dimdim Pacres-powered Galeries Towers, and Jho Maraguinot-led Nxled and Grethcel Soltones-powered PetroGazz.
“Our endeavor to host these games aligns with our vision for the Candon City Arena – to position prominently on the national sports map as a gracious host for significant sporting events, including PVL games and other national tournaments,” Singson said.
“By joining hands with us, you not only support a momentous sporting event but also contribute to the growth and recognition of our beloved city,” he added.
The clubs, which arrived in batches on Thursday, were able to train in the past two days to get the feel of the brand new venue.
