Actress Heaven Peralejo is Ginebra San Miguel’s Calendar Girl for 2024.
This was made known during a festive media launch at The Westin Manila, Mandaluyong City, recently.
Among rising stars of today, Heaven, 24, is best known for her landmark performance in the movie “Nananahimik ang Gabi,” for which she won the Asian Academy Creative Awards’ Best Actress plum.
She earned raves as well starring in the hit youth series “The Rain in España.”
Being chosen as calendar girl for the popular gin brand is a dream come true for Heaven.
“It’s such a beautiful milestone to be part of Ginebra,” she shared, revealing, “It’s a dream come true, my first drink is also my first big endorsement.”
The 2024 edition of Ginebra’s calendar showcases Heaven in six layouts, each embodying the vibrant spirit of various Fiestas in the country, including the Panagbenga of Baguio, the Lantern Festival of Pampanga, the Higantes Festival of Rizal, the Pintados of Leyte, Davao City’s Kadayawan, and the Masskara Festival of Bacolod.
“I had so much working with the Ginebra team,” said Heaven. “We all made sure that each layout would truly represent the spirit of each region.”
The calendar is a long-held tradition in the brand’s history.
Since its inception in 1988, some of the country’s most beautiful including beauty queens, actresses, and models have graced the Ginebra San Miguel calendar. Among them were Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, Solenn Heusaff, Pia Wurtzbach, Sanya Lopez, Christelle Abello, Chie Filomeno, and Yassi Pressman.
Heaven’s aunt, former actress Rica Peralejo, also served as calendar Girl in the early aughts.
