Veteran actress Gladys Reyes is only too happy being part of “Unspoken Letters,” a film that she maintains is a “must-watch.”
She explained, “Maganda kasi ang mensahe niya at napapanahon lalo na at kapaskuhan. Kapupulutan siya ng aral.”
“Unspoken Letters” is a family drama centered on a teen with intellectual disability as played by young up-and coming actress Jhassy Busran, whom Gladys describes as “truly gifted.”
“Ang galing na bata. Mahusay umarte,” she said.
The two share quite a few memorable scenes together in the film.
One that made a mark in particular on Gladys is their dramatic confrontation, something that required her to slap Jhassy.
Walang reklamo at all!”
She could relate to the scene having a sibling with autism.
Asked about the slapping scene, Jhassy laughed.
“To be honest po, medyo natakot at kinabahan din ako.
Apart from Gladys and Jhassy, “Unspoken Letters” stars Tonton Gutierrez, Matet De Leon, Gladys Reyes, Glydel Mercado, and Simon Ibarra.
The film, under Utmost Creatives, also features Daria Ramirez, Orlando Sol, Deborah Sun, John Hendrick, Dennah Bautista, Lotlot Bustamante, Deon Bautista, Stanley Abuloc, Angel Laco, Dwayne Bialoglovski, Princess Bustamante, Sean Guyamin, Edmund Santiago, Dhnnel Manaois, and Choline Baustista, MJ Manuel and Kristine Samson.
It opens in cinemas December 13.
