Dawn Macandili-Catindig has found a new home in the Cignal HD Spikers ahead of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.
The team announced the 27-year-old libero’s signing on Friday, Dec. 22 on a social media post.
“It’s the DAWN of a new era, #AwesomeNation! Welcome to Team Awesome, Dawn Macandili-Catindig!,” the post said.
This came following the disbandment of F2 Logistics more than a week ago to shift its focus on the grassroots.
While the Cargo Movers were hounded by injuries as they finished with a sorry 4-7 slate in the standings of the recently concluded season-ending conference, the HD Spikers zoomed to their fourth bronze medal finish in the tournament.
The 2022 Open Conference Best Libero tallied the pro league record 48-excellent dig masterclass during the mid-year conference that saw F2 Logistics fell short of the bronze medal to Cignal.
More of Macandili-Cantindig’s former teammates are expected to follow suit and announce their own fate soon.
