Migs Oczon knocked down the game-winning triple as Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus squeaked past Suwon KT Sonicboom, 83-82, in the Korean Basketball League on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Ulsan Dongcheon Gymnasium.
The Filipino import logged 29 minutes to finish with a season-high all-around effort of 23 points, three blocks and five assists in an efficient 3-of-6 shooting from the outside and 9-of-13 overall.
After previously debuting in limited minutes and scorinh four points a couple of days prior, Oczon put his talent on full display and made a good account for himself in the league.
“I felt good. Many fans chanted my name. The last time the fans chanted my name was something I had never experienced in the Philippines. I am so grateful,” Oczon said in an interview.
