They say: “Fight for your marriage like everything is at stake because it is.”
But will it still be worth it if your partner has already found someone else?
This is the dilemma of Cristy, Jasmine Curtis- Smith’s character in GMA’s new soap, “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.”
Playing the role of her husband Jordan is Rayver Cruz.
The commotion starts when Cristy gets abducted by the rebel group “Kalasag.”
Thinking she is dead, Jordan finds comfort in the arms of his friend, Shaira, played by the sultry Liezel Lopez.
Soon, Jordan marries her and together, they will rebuild a beautiful family.
But Cristy is actually alive.
Who truly deserves to be with Jordan—the first wife who fought for her freedom to be with her loved ones again? Or the second wife who was beside Jordan during his darkest nights?
Spicing up the soap opera are Martin del Rosario as Jeff and Joem Bascon as Leon.
Playing the role of villains in the series as members of “Kalasag” are Kim De Leon as Kuwago, the team’s spotter; Bruce Roeland as Bakulaw, the member who is best in martial arts; Luis Hontiveros as Alakdan, Leon’s right hand and the sniper of the group; Patricia Coma as Billie/Pusa, Leon’s daughter who is also a sharpshooter; Jennifer Maravilla as Sawa, the financier of Kalasag; Billie Hakenson as Buwaya, the gossiper and thief who is good in disguising; Ian Ignacio as Igat, the asset of the rebels; and Mariz Ricketts as Pusit, the group’s mother figure.
Completing the star-studded cast are Crystal Paras as Nonette, Cristy’s supportive best friend, Quinn Carillo as Leslie, Shaira’s close friend, and Gina Alajar as Carmen, the overprotective mother of Cristy.
