Explore love, life, death in GMA’s latest series.
Titled “Love. Die. Repeat.,” it stars the come-backing Jennylyn Mercado opposite Xian Lim.
In the story, Jennylyn is Angela, a woman forced to relive the agonizing death of her husband, Bernard, as played by Xian.
She is soon bent on saving Bernard from the horrific car crash that claimed his life.
Then again, there’s more to it.
“May mga twist and turns ang story that makes it quite interesting,” said Xian.
“Napakahirap po sa akin dahil walang tigil ang pag-iyak ko rito,” said Jennylyn.
Playing equally important roles in the series are Mike Tan as Elton, Angela’s abusive and vengeful ex-lover; Valeen Montenegro as Chloe, one of Angela’s best friends; Ina Feleo as Jessie, a man-hater and a friend of Angela who is not in favor of Bernard; Valerie Concepcion as Gretchen, the upfront and feisty friend of Angela.
Also joining the series are Ervic Vijandre as Jerome, the deceitful boyfriend of Chloe; Faye Lorenzo as Diane, Jerome’s wife whom he hides from Chloe; Victor Anastacio as Isaac, Bernard’s loyal and funny best friend.
Completing the star-studded cast are Nonie Buencamino as Danilo, the loving father of Angela; Samantha Lopez as Florence, Angela’s overprotective mother; Shyr Valdez as Hilda, the kind yet gullible mother of Bernard; Malou De Guzman as Kanlaon, an elderly woman and a secret Goddess.
This unconventional drama is produced by GMA Entertainment Group, headed by Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose S. Sese, Senior Program Manager Cathy Ochoa-Perez, and Executive Producer Kaye Cadsawan.
The creative team behind “Love. Die. Repeat.” is composed of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Creative Head Dode Cruz, Creative Consultant Jojo Tawasil Nones, Head Writer Obet Villela, Writers Geng Delgado and Jake Somera, and Brainstormer Borj Danao.
“Love. Die. Repeat.,” directed by Jerry Sineneng and Irene Villamor, airs weekdays, 8:50pm on GMA Prime.
The program also has a delayed telecast on GTV, weeknights at 10:50 to 11:25 pm.
