Talent management arm Asterisk, is spreading its wings further this year.
According to company head Kristian G. Kabigting, they are going into the New Year eager to take on the challenge of launching 31 new acts even as they also plan to enter co-managing agreements with different talent/artist management/agencies, including Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Net25’s Star Center, Cornerstone Entertainment and Viva Artist Agency.
“It’s going to be hard but I believe in the respective abilities of our stars,” he told us. “With a little bit of patience and perseverance, of course, I know that they will soon be able to attain their goals.”
To help his wards garner attention, Kristian is planning to produce a digital series.
This is not the first time, of course.
They utilized the same approach not long ago via “My Extraordinary” and “Weekend to Remember.”
“We will think of something new and exciting that will help launch our new love teams,” Kristian shared.
He is also hoping to finally launch this year his PPOP acts, namely, Trainee AE, A Class and Project Z.
We’ve seen them perform and we attest to their appeal.
Other acts in the Asterisk roster include Ayumi Takezawa who was seen recently in PIE Channel’s “Ur Da Boss” as part of the BBGurlz.
Kurt Rivera, is a skilled singer and guitarist who just made a mark as “Tiktoclock’s” “Boy Romantiko.”
There’s also hottie Jaja Disuanco, a notable influencer with over a million followers on Facebook and TikTok combined.
Just recently, Jaja as with her love team partner Kyosu Guinto, signed with Viva Artist Agency.
Another Asterisk talent to watch out for is Dana Davids, one of the 32 Pioneer Starkada Artists under Net25’s Star Center. She will be seen in Netflix’s “Call My Manager” as directed by Erik Matti.
Then there’s Arwen Cruz, who is also now a Starkada.
Steven Nacpil was recently part of TV5 and Cignal’s “Reel Rising Star.”
Ice reyes garnered a loyal fan base as “Loleng” in the hit TV adaptation of “Maging Sino Ka Man.”
Hannah Balahadia have appeared on different projects in both GMA and ABS-CBN. She was last seen in “Love in 40 Days.”
There’s also Trajan Montero, Asterisk’s resident rocker, Keith Moreno, one of the winners of 100 Cutest Faces 2023, dancer Erico Ricabar, actress Mianne Chanel, singer-dancer Steel Remington, Ayana Quizon, a grandchild of comedy great Dolphy, beauty queen Athalia Badere, and dancer Cass Carpina.
