Xyriel Manabat harbors no regret starting her acting career at a young age.
Reflecting on the matter during a recent interview, she shared, “Kung ano man yung pinagdaanan ko noon, thankful ako dun kasi maaga akong namulat at a very young age.”
Note that Xyriel quickly rose to fame for her memorable roles in popular television series such as “Agua Bendita” and “100 Days to Heaven.”
Her performances successfully endeared her to audiences and established her as among the industry’s more notable young talents.
Following a hiatus spanning nearly six years, during which Xyriel focused on her personal life and education, she made a triumphant return to the small screen through the drama series “Dirty Linen.”
“Bago po ako bumalik sa industry, prinepare ko po yung sarili ko na stable ako, and sure ako sa pinapasok ko,” Xyriel said.
When asked about Star Magic’s contribution to her comeback, she said, “‘Yung tiwala na alam kong may tatanggap sa akin pabalik. Malaking tulong na naiintindihan po nila ako. Siguro kasi napalaki po nila ako ng tama. Na-feed nila ako ng tamang morals and principles.”
Most recently, she took on one of the lead roles in the hit series “Senior High,” where her role swiftly became among fan-favorites.
Her performance in the series garnered praise from viewers, further cementing her status as one of the most accomplished actresses on Philippine television.
“Mas okay po sa akin na on the spot kong ma-feel yung mafe-feel ng character para nandun yung rawness ng emotion,” Xyriel shared, explaining her preferred acting approach.
Looking ahead, she shared that her goal this year is to “further explore the craft and the industry.”
