Newly-crowned WBC minimumweight champion Melvin Jerusalem leads a packed and rare three-part session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on Tuesday (April 2) at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Jerusalem will be with Sanman Promotions CEO JC Mananquil and the rest of the team that just came from Nagoya, Japan where the 30-year-old fighter wrested the 105lbs version of the WBC after a win by split decision over dethroned champion and hometown bet Yudai Shigeoka.
Joining the two-time world champion in the 10 a.m. session are PSC Commissioner Fritz Gaston and representatives from the coming HOKA Trilogy Run Asia.
Gaston, appearing for the first time in the Forum presented by San Miguel Corporation, PSC, Philippine Olympic Committee, PLDT/Smart, MILO, and ArenaPlus, the leading sports entertainment gateway in the Philippines, is going to discuss his project Indigenous Peoples (IP) Games, while Runrio Events Manager Kamille May Atienza along with a HOKA representative are talking about the three-leg run series that kicks off over the weekend at the Mall of Asia Complex.
