Creamline Cool Smashers star Tots Carlos is up for a new chapter to her already storied career after throwing her name to the 2024 Korean V-League Women’s Asian Quota draft.
The three-time Premiere Volleyball League Most Valuable Player is looking for her first foray in the international league alongside two other stars.
She is joined by Chery Tiggo’s Mylene Paat and Petro Gazz’s MJ Phillips along with 33 other hopefuls, the league announced on Monday, April 15.
Paat, who grabbed bronze in the Thai tilt, hopes to enter the Korean tourney after not being selected last year.
Also went undrafted were Iris Tolenada, Majoy Baron, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, and Jia De Guzman, who recently won division title with the Denso Airybees in Japan V.League.
Both Carlos and Paat are currently vying for a semifinal slot for their respective teams in PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Meanwhile, Phillips will try her luck anew after an uneventful season with the Gwangju Al Peppers who picked her fifth overall last year.
Asian women’s volleyball elites are also joining the draft with the likes of Indonesia’s Megawati Pertiwim, Australian veteran Katarina Osadchuk, and rising Thai star Jidapa Nahuanong.
Thai bets Pornpun Guedpard and former Creamline import Kuttika Kaewpin are also hoping to be drafted.
