Niño Muhlach parted with one of several Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) trophies he has received recently, giving it to Boss Toyo for 500,000 pesos.
Boss Toyo deemed the trophy “priceless” promising to display it in a museum he plans to build in the future.
The exchange is seen via an episode of “Pinoy Pawnstars” that dropped last Monday.
Niño personally visited the content creator’s shop in Quezon City.
“Aalagaan mo yan, ire-restore mo yan,” he told Boss Toyo, referring to the trophy, one of five he received from FAMAS naming him Best Child Performer.
Boss Toyo answered in the affirmative, telling Niño that he will display it alongside the award that actor Jiro Manio sold to him a few months ago.
Niño said that it was Boss Toyo who personally inquired about the award.
“I decided to give it to him, pero ang deal, kailangan alagaan nya and i-restore niya and ilagay nya sa museum niya, dahil hindi ko na naalagaan,” Muhlach said.
Boss Toyo said the award is one of his dream items, noting the huge mark Niño made in local entertainment through his movies.
“Ikaw ang barometer, pag sinabing ‘child actor’, tandaan natin, wala pa akong nakitang nakadaig sayo as a child actor,” Boss Toyo said.
Apart from the award, Niño also gave Boss Toyo some cards of movies he produced and starred in.
Aside from acting, Niño also dabbled in several businesses, including the El Niño Apartments in Quezon City and the Muhlach Ensaymada chain.
