Rain or Shine gave its fans a peak of what transpired behind the scenes of its surprising playoff run in the 2024 PBA Philippine Cup through a documentary film entitled ‘Rise to Shine’ and uploaded on its official Facebook page.
The film particularly looked back to the Elasto Painters quarterfinals showdown against the TNT Tropang Giga where they pulled off a 2-1 reversal in the best-of-three affair to reach their very first semifinals appearance in five years.
ROS head coach Yeng Guiao also provided insights about their journey throughout the film as well as young players like captain Gabe Norwood, and young guns Gian Mamuyac, Andrei Caracut and Adrian Nocum who all played pivotal roles in the team’s playoff run.
