Sun Life Philippines successfully launched its new game, Play for Life: A Game of Choices at on July 6 at Conrad Manila.
Present were Sun Life brand ambassadors Piolo Pascual, Matteo Guidicelli, and Sarah Geronimo, who shared insights on the importance of making informed decisions for a brighter future.
The online version of Play for Life is now live on the Sun Life website. This free, single-player game allows Filipinos to experience real-life financial scenarios through engaging game play.
A board game version will be available in all Sun Life branches nationwide.
There are also versions of Play for Life specifically designed for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), business owners, and professionals.
To promote the game, Sun Life unveiled a new digital video commercial featuring Piolo, Matteo and Sarah, together with Donny Pangilinan, which showcases the fun and engaging nature of the game.
“Play for Life marks a significant step forward in Sun Life’s goal to make financial literacy fun and accessible for all Filipinos,” said Carla Gonzalez-Chong, Chief Client Experience and Marketing Officer of Sun Life Philippines. “Play for Life aims to equip Filipinos with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial choices and achieve their life goals.”
Sun Life is making financial literacy more engaging and accessible by bringing the game directly to Filipinos in their communities via a roving life-size version of Play for Life.
Navigate giant board game and make real-life choices at SM Sta Rosa from July 27 to 28, SM Lanang, Davao from August 24-25, and SM Iloilo from September 14-15.
Sun Life clients can get a chance to win amazing prizes like a ₱100,000 travel voucher to Japan and Giftaway vouchers worth up to ₱10,000 when they play the Play for Life game.
All they have to do is participate in any of the mall activations or play the online game and submit an entry through the form at the end of the game.
The winners will be drawn using an electronic randomizer among eligible clients. Promo runs until October 31, 2024.
Non-Sun Life clients also have the chance to win a trip to Vietnam and Giftaway vouchers worth up to ₱10,000 when they play the online version of Play for Life.
To qualify, participants must fill out the “Double the Pot” form on the online game.
Selection of winners will be done via a raffle draw among the eligible entries. Winners will be announced on September 18, 2024.
A multi-player version of Play for Life: A Game of Choices is also set to launch soon.
