Priscilla Meirelles is now in Brazil.
This, she made known to followers via Facebook Live.
Through the same, she addressed ongoing hubbub concerning her husband, actor John Estrada.
The issue started with John posting photos of himself in Boracay.
In the comment section, a fan asked who he is with.
John was silent, but Priscilla quickly answered in his behalf, mentioning a woman’s name.
She would then add: “Looking very divorced Mr. Estrada.”
John has since turned off the comment option on his post.
In the same Facebook live session, Priscilla read some of the messages sent by fans.
One read: “Idol, may new naman ba si John? Grabe naman, napakaganda mo.”
Priscilla laughed and said, “Ay naku po, ganyan talaga ang buhay…”
When another fan urged her to share what exactly happened, she said, “Ano nangyari? Respeto lang gusto ko hingiin.”
As to another fan suggesting she should file for divorce, Priscilla answered, “Wala pang divorce sa Pilipinas ‘di ba? Paano tayo? Joke! Joke lang guys…”
She would go on to explain why she is now in Brazil, reasoning simply “to think about life and plan the future.”
But she went on to assure fans she’d be returning to Manila soon.
“Sa lahat ng nasa Pilipinas, I just want to remind you all to always be kind. We don’t know the battles of others or what they’re going through,” Priscilla said. “We should always remember that respect is the most important thing — respect sa tao, sa family, sa bansa — even more than love.”
