An intriguing love triangle unfolds in Vivamax’s “Daddysitter” starring Apple Dy.
In it, the actress plays the role of a woman torn between two lovers who are actually father and son.
She told us, “The role is quite challenging but I welcomed it. I felt like I need to do more challenging roles to keep on improving as an actress. I also felt that my fans would love to see me in a new light, something far removed from previous roles.”
Directed by Christian Paolo Lat, “Daddysitter,” also stars comebacking actor Emil Sandoval, who has appeared in numerous sexy films prior.
“I am really happy to be back and act again,” he said. “I missed it. I thoroughly enjoyed working with these young actors.”
In “Daddysitter,” Apple plays the role of Mara (Dy), a college student who is barely making ends meet.
Enter fellow student Isabelle (Mia Cruz), who introduces her to the concept of “daddysitting” – a term used for dating wealthy and old men in exchange for financial support and gifts.
Emil is Ryan (Sandoval), an older gentleman who becomes her client.
However, Mara soon learns of Ryan’s declining health.
Then there’s Joseph (Armani Hector), Ryan’s drug-addled entitled son who blackmails Mara into a compromising situation to expedite his inheritance.
Caught between the kindness Ryan has shown her and the desperate need to ease her financial burdens, Mara is faced with a tricky dilemma. Will she remain loyal to Ryan, or is she going to be a willing pawn to Joseph’s dangerous schemes?
“Daddysitter” streams exclusively on Vivamax starting August 2.

However, as Tantan’s feelings for Joni deepen, things become more complicated due to their age difference and Joni’s work as a prostitute.
Another wave of drama unfolds in Tantan’s life when his best friend, Tasyo (Ardy), starts a romantic relationship with Helen (Athena), a girl Tantan initially liked.
Tensions escalate when Joni gets publicly shamed for her profession, forcing her to make difficult and life-changing decisions.
