Another actor was forced to do something totally unnecessary recently, trusting the wrong individuals.
Surprisingly, the actor is not a newbie.
Multi-awarded actor Raymond Bagatsing, 56, was duped by unscrupulous individuals to bare for the cameras as part of a supposed audition.
He would go on to warn his social media followers about the same, noting how the perpetrators pretended to be directors Lauren Dyogi and Jun Lana.
Raymond shared his conversation with the individuals via Instagram.
Based on the screenshots, an individual posing as Lauren instructed Raymond to communicate with another individual supposed to be Jun, who then conducted the audition.
Said Raymond, “I did a quick audition for him. I took my shirt off upon his request. I did an improv pretending to have my wife who is in Tokyo for a sexy anniversary vid call…”
He went on, “Being an actor auditioning, I did a sexy scene, a teasing scene. When the fake Jun Lana wanted the character to touch himself and be more realistic, I put my shirt on and said, ‘Sorry Direk Jun, this project is not for me…’”
It was then that the guy supposedly berated Raymond, calling him “unprofessional” before threatening the actor to “pay for the damages or else everything will be on public.”
“I was plainly trusting two respected professionals in the Philippines showbiz industry. I have nothing to be ashamed of,” Raymond added, going on to urge: “Philippine showbiz, please show unity. Please beware of these sick minded people.”
Jun’s production company, The IdeaFirst Company, as with ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, which Lauren heads, have already issued separate statements on the matter.
Said IdeaFirst, “Please be cautious of any individuals or entities claiming to be ‘Jun Lana’ or IdeaFirst…”
Star Magic made clear: “We want to stress that there is no such project and Star Magic does not conduct auditions that require anyone to engage in compromising acts.”
