Most would probably know him as one of several good-looking young actors featured in the hit series “Pamilya Sagrado.”
But there is more to River Joseph than his looks.
At 25, he has already done so much beyond TV.
To those not in the know, he has developed several businesses, among them eco-friendly plastic bags made out of cassava starch.
He’s also involved in an outreach program called Rich for the Poor, an initiative that benefits street children and the less fortunate.
River is also involved in farm tourism.
He told us, “I have so many interests actually and acting is just one of them.”
The excitable young man added, “I just want to try everything and learn along the way, see where it would lead me.”
So, how did he get into acting?
“Actually, I was doing Tiktok and that’s where I was scouted. But even as I kid, I was already into films. I fell in love with the idea of creating characters and writing stories so, it’s kind of one of my passions.”
He is happy to be part of “Pamilya Sagrado,” noting he learns a lot for his co-stars, among them Piolo Pascual.
“The show is a huge step for me. I learned a lot developing my character, working along with people. I am really thankful they are all helpful. Like, I grew up watching Piolo, so it’s just so nice to actually get to know him, observing how he is on the set, preparing for his scenes.”
So what’s next for him?
“I’m working on some new stuff so there’s a lot to look forward to in the future and I’m excited. I believe I am just starting and there’s a long road ahead. I hope one day I could star in a rom-com or an action film or try other stuff like hosting, singing, dancing.”
