Mr. Glenn Patricio, the newly appointed board member of Movie, Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), is one of Marcos administration’s youngest appointees.
Mr. Patricio took his oath of office on July 22, 2024 before MTRCB Chairwoman Diorella Maria “Lala” Sotto-Antonio.
It marked the beginning of his important role in overseeing and enhancing the standards of film and television contents in the Philippines.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Patricio enjoyed a successful career in business, where he honed his skills in management and strategic planning.
His background as an administrative consultant at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has also provided him with invaluable experience in navigating the complexities of government operations and public service.
His insights gained in the private sector and government will be instrumental as the MTRCB continues to evolve in this fast-paced digital age.
Expressing his gratitude and commitment, Mr. Patricio stated, “I am incredibly grateful for the trust and support they placed on me. It is a great privilege to be part of this team, and I am committed to contributing towards our shared goals of excellence of programming in TV and cinema, and the Philippine media as a whole.”
He aims to carry this guiding principle as he undertakes his responsibilities with the MTRCB.
