GMA is out to offer televiewers a poignant tale of hope, resilience, and the power of dreams through “Shining Inheritance,” an adaptation of the hit K-Drama “Brilliant Legacy.”
The series is headlined by two of Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s brightest: Kyline Alcantara as Joanna De La Costa and Kate Valdez as Inna Villarazon.
Joining them are Paul Salas as Francis Abrigo, Michael Sager as Euan De La Costa, Roxie Smith as Aimee Vergara, and Coney Reyes as Aurea De La Costa.
Adding more depth to the story are some of the country’s most respected artists in film and television: Wendell Ramos as Charlie Abrigo, Glydel Mercado as Lani Vergara-Villarazon, Aubrey Miles as Sonia De La Costa, Gio Alvarez as Edwin Rodriguez.
Also part of the show are Dave Bornea as Archie, Jamir Zabarte as Mark, Seth Dela Cruz as Nono Villarazon, Charuth as Cecile Bautista.
Directed by Jorron Lee Monroy, “Shining Inheritance” focuses on the optimism and determination of Inna who dreams of owning a restaurant.
Her journey becomes a huge challenge with the collapse of their family business following her father’s passing.
Left with a cruel stepmother and stepsister, Lani and Aimee, Inna and her brother, Nono, must deal with a series of unfortunate events.
Along the way, Inna crosses paths with Aurea and her grandchildren, Joanna and Euan.
Aurea will soon give her abundant blessings and opportunities.
But Inna’s life is about to become more complicated as she gets entangled in the conflict of De La Costa, Villarazon, and Abrigo families.
Will love triumph over greed and familial issues? How can Inna believe in her dreams if the rest of the world tells her otherwise?
“Shining Inheritance” is produced by the GMA Entertainment Group, headed by Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Ali Nokom-Dedicatoria, Program Manager Anthony R. Pastorpide, and Executive Producer Nieva S. Magpayo.

“Shining Inheritance” airs starting September 9, Mondays to Fridays at 4pm on GMA Afternoon Prime and Kapuso Stream.
