Sen. Ramon “Bong” was among those present at the recent “Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF): Paglinang sa industriya ng paglikha.”
Held at the Philippine Sports Arena in Pasig City, the event, which involved 60 gov’t agencies, benefited thousands of workers from the entertainment industry with each of those present receiving cash incentives, rice, among others.
The lawmaker lauded the initiative, deeming it unprecedented.
Revilla, who is still active as movie producer and actor commended President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez for the effort, noting, “Hindi na ang taumbayan ang kailangan kumatok sa gobyerno, dahil ang gobyerno na mismo ang lumalapit sa tao.”
Revilla, who is gunning for another term as senator in the upcoming elections, vowed to continue doing his utmost to help those in the entertainment industry.
