The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has named the other five entries to this year’s edition, completing the 10 films for its 50th year.
These are:
“My Future You” – Starring Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz, the film,
directed by Crisanto Aquino, is a romantic comedy that revolves around
two individuals existing in two different timelines going on to connect via a dating app.
“Uninvited” – A thriller that stars Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, and Nadine Lustre. Directed by Dan Villegas and written by Dodo Dayao, it follows the story of a vengeful mom seeking justice for the murder of her daughter.
“Topakk” – Starring Arjo Atayde, Julia Montes, Kokoy de Santos, and Sid
Lucero, the film tells the story of a former soldier who suffers from PTSD who has to battle a corrupt police squad out to kill a woman. Directed by Richard V. Somes.
“Hold Me Close” – Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana and starring Julia Barretto and Carlo Aquino, the film is about a girl who can tell if a person will bring happiness or harm to her life by touching them.
“Espantaho” – The horror film stars Judy Ann Santos, Lorna Tolentino, Mon Confiado, Janice de Belen, and Eugene Domingo. Directed by Chito S. Roño and written by Chris Martinez.

“And the Breadwinner Is…” – Starring Vice Ganda and directed by Jun Robles Lana
“Green Bones” – Directed by Zig Dulay and starring Ruru Madrid, Dennis Trillo
“Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital” – A horror film directed by Kerwin Go
“Himala, Isang Musikal” – Directed by Jose Lorenzo “Pepe” Diokno
“The Kingdom” – Directed by Michael Tuviera and starring Piolo Pascual, Vic Sotto
