Ice Seguerra is all set and ready to go.
For the repeat of his hit concert “Videoke Hits: OPM Edition,” that is.
According to Ice, they deemed it necessary after the first sold out.
The singer-songwriter related, “Marami kasi ang hindi nakapanood din so, we decided to set another date and that will be on Nov. 8 at the Music Museum.”
Aptly titled, “Videoke Hits OPM Edition (Isa Pa),” the show isn’t going to be just a mere repeat, though.
“We decided to tweak the repertoire a bit,” he related. “Kasi, personally, I have lots of favorite songs na gusto kong ilagay sa line-up pero siyempre hahaba masyado ang show. So, what we did, is like, to create medleys so I could sing most of them.”
It’s not as if he’s just going to perform the songs the usual way.
“It’s a show after all so, we rearranged the songs in a different way to make it more interesting, fun,” Ice said.
The concert is divided into distinct parts.
Shared Ice, “The first part is where I sing songs in my personal list, the ones I usually pick when I do videoke. The second part is where I take on actual requests from people at the venue. The third, is where I perform rearranged versions of my favorite tunes.”
It’s the part that many actually enjoy, with some openly asking Ice to release an album of the same.
He said, “Napagusapan na nga naming din and yeah, I’ve been thinking of releasing a few that came out quite nice.”
Produced by Fire and Ice Live, which, for those not in the know, is actually Ice and his partner Liza Diño-Seguerra’s baby, tickets for “Videoke Hits OPM Edition (Isa Pa),” are now available at Ticketnet and at the Music Museum.
