Hitmaker Juan Karlos Labajo allowed fans a huge surprise recently doing a duet of his tune “Medyo Ako” with leading OPM female singer Moira Dela Torre in a videoke stand at a mall.
A video of the unexpected collaboration ultimately became viral on TikTok,gaining more than 20,000 views in the first few hours since its upload.
“Gusto lang namin mag-karaoke, okay lang ba sa inyo?” Juan Karlos told the surprised crowd as they prepared to sing. “Huwag ninyo na lang kami masaydo pansinin, kakanta lang kami dito.”
With the sudden collaboration, fans are now hoping that Moira would actually appear in Juan Karlos’ upcoming concert to be held November 29 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
In an earlier interview, Juan Karlos shared how he was very much hands on preparing for his first ever solo concert, which he described as a “dream come true.”
He also stressed how music has influenced his life.
“Music has been a part of my life. I enjoy making music because it allows me to convey what I want and express how I feel. As artists, we should constantly allow our vulnerability to shine through, connecting and sharing it with others,” Juan Karlos said.
