Cavite and Cebu bounced back from their opening day losses at the expense of still winless clubs NCR-Passion Sports and Ilocos. Cavite pulled off a 59-53 win to improve to 1-1 in Group A while Cebu hacked out a 64-55 triumph over Ilocos to likewise improve to 1-1 in Group D.
