Perpetual looks to keep its slate unblemished when its men’s and women’s teams take on the Arellano University in the NCAA Season 100 Indoor Volleyball Tournaments at the LPU Gym in Intramuros Manila, Friday, March 7.
Sharing the top spot with the St. Benilde Blazers with identical 3-0 records, the Lady Altas eye the solo lead in the 1 p.m. affair before the Altas Spikers take their turn at 3 p.m.
Although off to an impressive start to the season, the Altas are not sitting on their laurels and continue to fine tune their point of attacks.
“We practiced a lot on all the moves that we don’t have during the game against LPU,” said head coach Macky Cariño.
Expected to lead the charge for Perpetual is Jeff Marapoc for the men’s team and Winnie Bedaña on the distaff side.
Bedaña had 11 points in the Lady Altas’ 25-18, 28-26, 25-16 win against San Beda University last Feb. 22, then followed by her best outing so far last Feb. 27 when she scored 20 built on15 attacks, three aces, and two blocks as the Las Piñas-based squad won against Jose Rizal University, 25-17, 22-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Marapoc, meanwhile, is leading the Altas in their new chapter without reigning back-to-back Most Valuable Player Louie Ramirez and the late head coach Sammy Acaylar.
