The rigodon of top collegiate players continuous as Aldous Torculas left University of the Philippines and transferred to San Beda.
This came a day after former NCAA Season 99 Finals MVP James Payosing opted to leave San Beda and bring his act to University of the Philippines.
Torculas, a part of the Fighting Maroons’ championship run in UAAP Season 87, expressed his interest to transfer to San Beda because of its winning culture.
“San Beda ang napili ko kasi kasi nakikita ko na may winning culture sila,” said Torculas.
Also a factor in the 20-year-old Torculas’ move to Mendiola was head coach Yuri Escueta, who he thinks will help him further hone his game.
“Nakausap ko rin yung mga kaibigan ko sa beda about coach Yuri and sa tingin ko matutulungan nya ako para ma-develop pa,” he added.
