The Daegu KOGAS Pegasus rediscovered their fiery form and outclassed the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters, 88-76, to end their three-game slide in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) Wednesday, March 12.
Andrew Nicholson and SJ Belangel led the scoring anew as the Pegasus stepped on the gas early and dominated the Red Boosters all throughout to nail their first victory after almost two weeks of futility.
Nicholson put up a 31-point performance with six rebounds, one steal and one block while Belangel had of 18 points on top of two rebounds and three assists for Daegu.
It was sort of a redemption game for Belangel after the former Ateneo and Gilas Pilipinas standout managed onlyfor four points in the team’s 89-69 loss to the league-leading Seoul SK Knights the last time.
Later Thursday, March 13, erstwhile UAAP stars Kevin Quiambao and JD Cagulangan as the Goyang Sono Skygunners collide against the Suwon KT Sonicboom.
