Real-life couple Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina are set to return to the big screen via “Un-Ex You.”
Just like past efforts, it seems to be another hit-in-the-making.
Note that as of writing, the bra scene drop of “Un-Ex You,” posted last Saturday, already reached 20 Million views across all platforms.
Obviously, many are excited to see the couple back to doing what they do best: Making people laugh.
In the film, Kim is Zuri, a 35-year-old owner of a small-scale logistics company called Movex.
She grew up as a foster kid. Hence, she has learned at an early age to fend for herself.
The only family she considers are her distant relative Bry (Kyosu Guinto), her best friend Greg (Bob Jbeili), and her employees.
Diagnosed with a rare case of premature menopause, meaning she might soon lose the ability to carry a baby, Zuri is scrambling to find a decent man with whom she can have a baby and build a family.
Her last option? Her ex, Andy, as played by Jerald.
Andy, a resident of a far-flung sitio of Halúpi, is the best personification of all that their sitio values: conservatism, taking things slowly and surely, chill attitude, contentment, and treating everyone as family.
Unfortunately, Andy is suffering from permanent memory loss. He has forgotten all about Zuri.
Will Zuri dare bring up their past in an effort to secure her future?
“Un-Ex You,” directed by RC Delos Reyes and also starring Marnie Lapus, Vladia Disuanco and Candy Pangilinan, opens April 9 in cinemas nationwide.
