University of Perpetual Help scored a twin kill, with the Lady Altas keeping their clean slate and Spikers notching their fifth victory, both against San Sebastian in the NCAA Season 100 volleyball tournaments on Thursday, March 20, at JRU Gym in Mandaluyong City.
Rookie Jemalyn Menor erupted for 21 points on 20 attacks and an ace to power the Lady Altas to a 25-10, 25-10, 19-25, 25-22, 25-19 win over the Lady Stags while their men counterparts demolished their opponents in straight sets, 25-20, 25-19, 25-18.
Three other Lady Altas scored in double digits with Daizerlyn Uy firing 15 points, nine of which from the service line while 13 points were contributed by Winnie Bedan̈a and 12 by Shaila Omipon.
Fianne Ariola recorded 25 excellent sets in 93 attempts, 17 receptions for Marian Andal and 13 digs for Joanna Denise Lozano.
Veteran Katherine Santos led San Sebastian College with 22 points
Meanwhile, KC Andrade scored a game-high 15 points from 10 points from kills while Kobe Tabuga and Jeff Marapoc contributed with 13 apiece for another dominant performance for Perpetual.
Dexter Arrozado contributed 10 pts, six of which were from attacks and 4 of which were from blocks as Klint Mateo recorded 21 excellent for the Spikers who now have recorded twin victories since their first loss to Arellano.
