GMA Network and Viu Philippines have teamed up for a gripping murder mystery series.
Titled “Slay,” the series is top-billed by Gabbi Garcia, Mikee Quintos, Ysabel Ortega, and Julie Anne San Jose — powerhouse actresses stepping into roles that will challenge their personas like never before.
Derrick Monasterio plays a special role in the show, with Royce Cabrera offering strong support.
The story follows the mysterious death of fitness influencer Coach Zach (Derrick), with four women—Sugar (Mikee), Liv (Julie Anne), Amelie (Gabbi), and Yana (Ysabel) as main suspects.
Episodes will unravel more of these “pretty girls with ugly pasts.”
The twists and turns will keep you guessing, while the tension between the women and investigator Juro (Royce Cabrera) grows with every interrogation.
Note the series will feature two different versions: The one airing on TV and the other available on the Viu streaming platform.
Each will have a different ending.
Joining the star-studded ensemble are Bernard Palanca, James Blanco, Phoemela Baranda, Chuckie Dreyfus, Simon Ibarra, Tina Paner, Matet de Leon, Nikki Co, Gil Cuerva, and Jay Ortega.
Directed by Rod Marmol and Jules Katanyag, “Slay,” GMA’s first Viu Original series, premieres March 24 on GMA Prime.
