With just days until he makes his jump to the global stage, Ezekiel “EZ-Kill” Isidro promises to leave an impression.
After a solid showing in the local circuit, Isidro now takes the next step in his young and promising career when he faces Tsukasa Mizoguchi in a flyweight MMA bout at ONE Friday Fights 104 on April 11 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 21-year-old reported on an excellent training camp, as he promises fireworks in his ONE debut.
“I’ve been working on my striking and ground game to give you an entertaining and more action-packed fight,” he said.
Entering this fight, Isidro aims to utilize his excellent grappling background from years of training with Submission Sports Philippines.
While he’s confident in his striking, he knows that his main advantage will be in the ground exchanges, and that’s something he plans to exploit.
“My opponent is a good striker, my plan is to set up my striking to the ground, because I know that I can get the advantage from there,” he said.
A victory would place him among the most promising Filipino rising stars in the ONE Friday Fights circuit, and that’s exactly what he intends to accomplish in his debut.
“It’s an honor to represent our country in the big league, for me this is the biggest fight in my entire life,” he said.
“I feel good. I’m ready to give my best and showcase my skills in this upcoming ONE Friday Fights.”E
