A tight and furious battle is expected when the Philippine Racing Commission (Philracom) stages the first leg of the Triple Crown Series on Sunday, April 13, at the Metro Manila Turf Club Inc.
This prestigious event will see seasoned and rising stars vying for glory over a distance of 1600 meters with a total guaranteed gross prize of P1 million up for grabs.
Among the favorites in the event are El Jaleo and La Luna – both owned by Benjamin Abalos Jr. – and so are Habebi Scout and Pecotin Lady, owned by Running Rich Racing Inc.,
Melaine Habla’s Parade King and Vinalot Eyu are also considered as the horses to beat in the event where horses will be carrying handicap weights of 52-54kgs.
Adding to the excitement are the individual entries, Heartfelt, Babe in Hoblut, Black Jack, District One, He’s So Fine, Natasha, and Transform.
