University of Perpetual Help hopes to clinch its first-ever juniors basketball championship when it meets La Salle Greenhills in Game 2 of their Season 100 Finals on Sunday, April 13, at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
Foiled by the Letran Squires last season, the Junior Altas are expected to pour it all in their 2:30 p.m. showdown in their desire to finally savor the sweet taste of success after 41 years in the league.
Hopefully, their 100-96 win in the opener of their best-of-three title series on Friday would give them enough energy and motivation to finish off the Greenies.
That would be something special for an institution that is celebrating its golden anniversary this year.
Out to lead the Junior Altas the dynamic duo of Lebron Jhames Daep and Jan Roluna who combined for 41 points the last time.
Additional firepower are expected to be provided by Jericho Cristino, JD Pagulayan, Louie Rosales and Icee Callangan.
