The future of the San Sebastian-Recoletos looks “golden” after the Golden Stags secured the commitments of the Gomez de Liano brothers – Jordi and Jaime – on Tuesday, April 15.
The additions of the GDL brothers bode well to San Sebastian’s planned massive buildup as they intend make a good run in the coming NCAA Season 101.
The team management, headed by Jax and EdsChua and Bernard Yang, and coach Rob Labagala expressed gratefulness to the GDL family for entrusting the two promising players under their three-year program.
The GDL brothers – both standing at 6-foot-5 – are expected to provide the Golden Stags the needed ceiling in order to contend against the likes of reigning champion Mapua, San Beda, Letran, University of Perpetual and Lyceum.
“The team is slowly shaping up,” said Yang.
San Sebastian had earlier announced the recruitment of a talented guard Jevy Ponce Hinoguin.
