Manalo succeeds another Manalo as Miss Universe Philippines.
Ahtisa Manalo bested 65 candidates on her way to winning the Miss Universe
Philippines 2025 title at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, May 2.
She was crowned by her predecessor, Chelsea Manalo, who was proclaimed the
first-ever Miss Universe Asia in last year’s edition of the Miss Universe pageant in
Mexico.
The 27-year-old beauty queen from Quezon Province is set to represent the
Philippines in the 74th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Thailand in
November.
A fan favorite, Manalo placed second runner-up in last year’s MUPH pageant.
She went on to represent the country in the inaugural Miss Cosmo competition,
where she finished in the Top 10.
Manalo is part of the 2018 batch of Binibining Pilipinas queens led by Miss Universe
Catriona Gray.
She competed in Miss International that year, where she placed first runner-up.
