ASIA’S King of Talk Boy Abunda has announced that two Kapmilya prime time shows would be finally seen in some parts of the world.
Abunda said that “Bridges of Love” will now be seen in Peru. The popular teleserye which ran from March 16, 2015 to Aug. 7, 2015 stars Jericho Rosales, Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador. It was directed by Richard V. Somes.
Another hit teleserye called “Pangako sa ‘Yo,” starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, can now be seen in Myanmar, Vietnam, Kazakhstan and some parts of Africa.
In December 2015, Padilla and Bernardo, collectively known as KathNiel, won Best Foreign Actor and Best Foreign Actress at the 2015 Face of the Year Awards of Today TV in Vietnam.
“Congratulations! Proud kami dyan dahil global na po ang mga Kapamilya telerserye,” Abunda said at the start of his talk show “Tonight with Boy Abynda” aired over ABS-CBN.
Also, James Reid and Nadine Lustre, known as JaDine, will continue to be Kapamilya stars after they renewed their contract with the television network recently.
Reid and Lustre also said that they will begin shooting for their new teleserye in June this year, after their teleserye “On the Wings of Love” which will end on Feb. 26. No other details were given about their new soap.
The JaDine love team is slated to hold a post-Valentine concert dubbed “JaDine Love” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on Feb. 20. Tickets to the show have been sold out.
