Expansion team Blackwater has agreed to terms with naturalized center Marcus Douthit to be the Elite’s temporary import this conference as 7-foot-2 reinforcement Chris Charles continues to recover from a strained hamstring injury that sidelined him in the team’s 92-70 loss to Barako Bull last Wednesday.
The 6-foot-11 Douthit, who played for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games in lieu of Andray Blatche, had his first practice session yesterday with Blackwater, which will face Talk ‘N Text on Sunday in Biñan, Laguna.
Douthit will again don the PH colors under coach Tab Baldwin in the 2015 SEABA and Southeast Asian Games. (Waylon Galvez)
