NAGA CITY – The administration ticket will hold a grand rally here in Bicol, considered bailiwick of Liberal Party vice presidential candidate Leni Robredo.
The Bicol leg starts with the full force of Daang Matuwid coalition attending an event in Ragay town in Camarines Sur this morning.
It will be followed by a motorcade in Iriga City where another miting de avance is expected to be held. Iriga City is the hometown of another LP senatorial candidate, former Justice Secretary Leila de Lima.
After the Iriga City event, another motorcade will be held towards Naga City for a grand rally in the evening.
Naga City, on the other hand, is the hometown of Robredo whose husband, the late Jesse, served as mayor here for a long time before he was appointed as secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Meanwhile, Roxas said all the presidential bets have the obligation to disclose the status of their health condition to the public.
“I am in favor of making public our health conditions. We have to be transparent to the people who will eventually decide whether or not we are fit to hold public office,” said Roxas.
Reports have said that some of the candidates are suffering from various diseases but would not disclose them to the public for fear of losing the elections.
