ACTRESS Nadine Lustre is now on the top spot of the online polls for “FHM 100 Sexiest 2016” based on partial results released on June 3.
But Lustre’s boyfriend, actor James Reid, is not happy about it. He took to Twitter to express his disapproval of the annual sexy list.
Reid posted an angry emoji with the screenshot of the latest survey on Twitter.
“Hoy! Who is responsible for this?” Reid asked. Then he followed it with another tweet “JaDines, I thought we were on the same team.”
So far, the Top 10 sexiest women are (in order) Lustre, Jennylyn Mercado, Jessy Mendiola, Angel Locsin, Rhian Ramos, Arci Muñoz, Jinri Park, Glaiza de Castro, Ellen Adarna, and Kim Domingo.
In 2015, Lustre finished at No. 49. Mercado, star of the hit movie “Just the 3 of Us,” led the sexiest poll in the same year.
ABS-CBN believes that Lustre shot to the top due to the popularity of the primetime teleserye “On the Wings of Love” which ended in February.
“Her surprising jump to the top of the list this year may be attributed to the popularity boost she received after the successful run of the primetime series ‘On the Wings of Love,’ which concluded in February,” ABS-CBN said.
The FHM Philippines poll has been extended to June 15. The popular glossy magazine for men has been conducting “sexiest” polls for the past 16 years.
