PORTLAND, Oregon – Officials say a teen was taken to a hospital in a helicopter after he tripped and was stabbed in the eye by a javelin at a Portland track meet.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reports (http://goo.gl/S3B3hw) people began calling Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Friday afternoon, saying a track meet competitor in Southwest Portland had tripped and fallen and that a javelin pierced his eye.
