YUM yum yum, mga Kapuso! Isang kakaibang dessert ba ang hanap ninyo para sa inyong pamilya? Ituturo ko sa inyo kung paano gumawa ng napakasarap na Banana Crème Caramel. Hindi n’yo na kailangang lumabas ng inyong bahay para matikman ang special dessert na ito sa mga restaurants. Ang dish na ito’y siguradong magpapatamis sa pagsasama ng inyong pamilya.
First layer:
Ingredients
1 ½ cups graham crackers, crushed
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp white sugar
Procedure
In a bowl, mix graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Set aside.
2nd layer:
Ingredients
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
½ tsp salt
2 cups fresh milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Procedure
1. Beat eggs in a bowl and set aside. In a sauce pan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Pour in milk and whisk until smooth. Continue to cook until thickened.
2. Mix eggs into the milk mixture. Simmer. Stir in butter and vanilla extract. Let it cool.
For the toppings:
4 pcs banana, peeled and sliced
Store-bought caramel sauce, as needed
Whipped cream spray
TO ASSEMBLE:
1. Spoon 2 tablespoons graham crackers into each glass. Press until firm.
2. Add a layer of cream and whipped cream. Lay cream and whipped cream again.
3. Top with sliced bananas and drizzle with caramel sauce.
