Jessie Vargas is taking to the skies to prepare for his defense of the world welterweight crown against Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 5 in Las Vegas.
Less than two months before putting the World Boxing Organization 147-lb title, the 27-year-old Vargas has been making regular trips to the 11,900-feet Mount Charleston near Las Vegas.
“There is no way I will let this go. I will be victorious by any means necessary,” said Vargas in his social media account of the scheduled 12-round battle with the Filipino legend at the Thomas and Mack Center.
