KAPAMILYA stars Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga-Soriano is set to resume work on their new teleserye “Written in Our Stars” early next year.
This was announced by Pascual during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN recently.
“I actually sent her a message and if I were to do a soap, I wanted to do it with her,” said Pascual who will co-star with Gonzaga in the new primetime series.
“Sabi n’ya she’s ready to work in January or February. Ibabalik lang daw n’ya yung katawan n’ya na as if walang nangyari,” Pascual also said.
“Stars” would have been the follow-up to the love team of Pascual and Gonzaga after their successful movie “A Second Chance” which grossed more than P400 million nationwide in 2014.
But shooting for the Kapamilya romance-fantasy-drama was halted after Gonzaga announced her pregnancy in April.
Gonzaga and her husband director Paul Soriano welcomed their first baby Severiano Elliott in September.
Reports said that “Stars” is expected to replace the popular primetime teleserye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” starring Coco Martin once it finishes airing in 2017.
Asked about Pascual’s date for the 10th Star Magic Ball on Oct. 22, the hunk actor said: “Marami kaming single ngayon eh so magkaka-table na lang kami. Uso yata ’yun so makikiuso ako sa mga single,” said Pascual.
