Ace comedian Vice Ganda has gamely answered the question of actress Anne Curtis “bakit lahat ng gwapo may boyfriend?”
on his late-night talk program on ABS-CBN last Sunday.
“Actually ikaw ang pinaka-perfect na dapat tanungin tungkol dyan eh. ‘Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?’” asked Curtis, who appeared on his show to promote her latest film which also stars Dennis Trillo and Paolo Ballesteros.
“Bakit ba lahat ng gwapo may boyfriend? Kasi, sorry sis ah, maganda ka pero gwapo ka rin. Nagkaka-boyfriend ka rin,” said Curtis. “Ngayon maganda ka pero nung sinauna pa noong high school ka, gwapo ka.”
Vice Ganda, 40, answered: “Siguro ‘yung mga gwapo, napagod na rin sa mga sakit na idinulot ninyong magaganda. Kaya siguro nag explore sila.”
“Kasi malaya na ngayon ang mga tao. Kasi ang mga tao ngayon mas open-minded na sila. Mas accepting at mas tolerating.
Kaya ’yung mga tao malakas ang loob mag-explore na magka-boyfriend or mag ka-kapwa girlfriend,” he added.
Though he has relationships with men, Vice Ganda rarely talks about his love life in public. The Kapamilya star has never revealed the identity of his former boyfriends.
But the 3.8 million Instagram followers of Vice Ganda, who is Jose Marie Viceral in real life, think the actor is heart-broken if he posts “hugot” lines about men and relationships on social media.
The box-office star is one of the hosts of the daily noontime show “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN. He will soon star in a new film opposite child stars Onyok and Aura of the “Ang Probinsyano” primetime series.
