Actor Dennis Trillo has revealed that actress Jennelyn Mercado is his inspiration these days.
“Si Jen ang inspirasyon sa buhay ko. S’ya ’yung nagbibigay ng balance sa mundo ko, sa buong pagkatao ko,” said Trillo, during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
Asked if he and Mercado were talking marriage, Trillo said: “Wala pa po.”
Mercado and Trillo initially became sweethearts in 2010. But on March 5, 2011, the couple have called it quits.
Reports said that a small disagreement then became a full-blown verbal fight and paved the way for the former sweethearts to part ways.
Mercado and Trillo have rekindled their friendship after they were seen together at the Balesin Club in Quezon in April 2015.
They have become travel buddies and they have been spotted watching concerts together on several occasions.
Fans believe that there was a brewing romance between the two Kapuso stars but they have not admitted anything about their relationship.
Trillo, 34, has a child with former beauty queen Carlene Aguilar while Mercado, 29, has a son with actor Patrick Garcia.
The Kapuso actor also explained why he volunteered to undergo drug test which later proved negative.
“Meron po tayong pangalan na iniingatan natin, meron po tayong pangalan na pinaghirapan at binuno natin ng ilang taon. Pero para idiin ng gobyerno na gusto nilang ilabas na ’yung ibang artsta sangkot sa droga. ayoko na mag-isip sila ng kung anu-ano dahil kung may masisira man dun sa pinaghirapan mo na ’yun, hindi na nila maibabalik ’yun eh,” said Trillo, who appeared on the late-night talk show to promote his latest movie “Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?” along with Anne Curtis and Paolo Ballesteros.
When asked the better kisser between Curtis and Ballesteros, Trillo said: “Mahirap yata iyan. Iba iyong style nila siyempre. Iba iyong halik ng babae, iba iyong halik ng lalake. Pero kailangan panoorin nila para malaman nila. Baka magalit sila sa akin.”
During the Fast Talk portion of the show, Trillo said that Hollywood star James Franco would be his boyfriend if he were gay.
Trillo also said that he wants to work with Kapamilya star Angel Locsin in a future project.
He thinks Mercado’s legs are the sexiest part of her body and believes that Brad Pitt is the actor more good-looking than him.
Trillo said that he prefers lights on while having sex, loves to do it when he wakes up and would give a song title to his sex life as “I Won’t Last a Day Without You.”
When quizzed to choose between sex and chocolates, Trillo smiled and said: “Chocolates na lang.”
